In 2019, 51.5 million Americans lived with a mental illness. Data shows that people who are part of a faith community and are experiencing mental health, substance use or family challenges often turn to their faith communities first. These families of faith tend to have healthier outcomes when positive faith is aligned. When trained leaders apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities you can help families recover, feel safe, and foster family resilience during mental health, substance use and healthy child-wellbeing challenges.
